Italic in Springtime
Italic is the script we love—elegant, timeless, and versatile. This course will explore its practice and history, tracing its flourishing during the Renaissance and cultivating it for the twenty-first century. Whether you’re a beginner holding a pen for the first time or an experienced calligrapher looking for fresh inspiration, spring is the perfect time to grow your skills.
Details:
- Expect about two hours of home practice per week.
- Students are responsible for ordering and bringing their materials (approx. $45). Early registration is recommended.
Workshop Details:
- Start Date: Wednesday, February 26 – (meets every Wednesday for eight weeks)
- Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- Duration: Eight weeks
