I’m originally from New York City, but have lived in Connecticut, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and abroad in Japan before moving to Cambridge in 1997 to join the IT staff at the Harvard Kennedy School. My husband Mike and I didn’t know anyone in the area and Harvard Neighbors gave us a way to connect with others. Originally, we joined an evening book club. Over the years, I became more involved in Harvard Neighbors as a board member and served as President for 2 years. After retiring from Harvard in 2009, we moved to Arlington. I enjoy reading, knitting, daily walks, traveling and continue to help lead the beginner English Conversation Group.
